JUNK MAIL HORROR STORY
Everyone in my apartment complex leaves their phone book, but Spencer takes it to a new level…
When I got married about a year and a half ago we moved into our own place, which was in a city neither of us have ever lived. We decided to get a local telephone book so we could find new stores and restaurants, etc. One day while at a supermarket we picked up a free phone book. Then the horror started... Within a week we had one phone book in our apartment mailbox, one on our doorstep, and one in our P.O. Box! And you think that's bad??? A few days after that we had 3 more phone books from a different company! So we ended up with 7 phone books! What to do with them? RECYCLE!
P.S. Thanks Green Dimes for also getting rid of those awful Carol Wright Gift catalogs!

ECO TIP
Rachel actually wrote five tips, and this was my favorite (I’m a sucker for dogs)…
1. Donate old newspapers to your local animal shelter. They can be used to line kennels.
HOME STATE ISSUE
Glad you spoke out Renee…
Here in Florida, we are being over run with contractors and a state government that just seems to cater to them. It is insane and makes me want to puke everytime I drive by a site where they are burning our beautiful Florida forest canopy. On top of this, we have been hit extrememly hard by hurricanes over the past few years that seem to be caused by global warming. When will we know that enough is enough and burning such beautiful things is hurting all of us? Please protect our canopy, Florida!
